Ankle boots have got to be one of the most versatile pair of shoes a woman can own. Black ankle boots have become such a staple in my fall wardrobe, although Fall season is pretty much non existent in Alberta, it’s already been and gone. Until next year Fall.
Anyway I picked up this super affordable pair of boots, surprisingly from Stiches.. of all places. They only set me back $40. I’ve spent a lot more on ankle boots in the past and they last just the same, especially in the snowy weather, they end up lasting only a few months regardless if they are $40 or $100.
Since I’ve been getting so much wear out of my new boots I put together 3 different ways to style ankle boots:
Style 1; The working week
I’ve seriously had this black pair of coveralls sitting in the back of my closet for 3 years. I finally pulled them back out and it’s safe to say I think I’ll be getting a lot more wear out of them!
I paired them with a black wide sleeve blouse, ray ban glasses and my trusty Michael Kors purse. I seriously wish I had a job where I got to dress all fancy all week. However I’m grateful for being able to wear yoga pants to work. Amen.

Style 2; Date Night
Who doesn’t love a dress on Date Night?! It’s the rare occasion that I get to dress up.. Even if it is just for a movie.
I paired these ankle boots with a stripey midi dress and velvet biker jacket.

Style 3; Casual Weekend
Give me the weekend and you’ll see me living in ripped jeans. They are such a staple in my casual wardrobe. I also felt like trying out the top knot and half down hair style, I don’t think hubby was a fan.. It takes me back to high school, but I’m kinda liking it!
Blouse; Zara, Jeans; H&M, Purse; Michael Kors
I want to start doing more posts based around showing you different ways on how to style one piece, because I love finding versatile pieces!
How do you style your ankle boots? What are your Fall essentials?
I want to know!
