There is so much information out there now when it comes to health and fitness, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming on where to start.
So I put together my 3 favourite fitness apps that I’m using right now.
My Fitness Pal
This is the app that I have probably used for the longest. This was seriously my life saver when I first started on my new fitness lifestyle. I’ll be honest it did take me a little while to figure it all out, but once you do it’s pretty incredible!
It’s so simple to add the foods you’re eating, you can scan the barcode on the food, search just about any food/drink you can think of!
I love that you can personalise your own macros and calorie intake. I like to plan out what food I will be eating for the next day just so I know I will be hitting all my goals.
I seriously love my fitbit! My hubby loved mine too so he went out and bought his own the next day! Your fitbit will continually sync with the app and upload all your data instantly.
You can track your daily steps (yesterday was the first day I hit 10,000 steps) floors climbed, km walked, calories burnt (I’ve been slacking.. I know) and a whole bunch of other cool stuff!
The best part is your fitbit congratulates you when you reach your goals (surround yourself with positive people and all that).
I love that with my fitbit Charge HR I can see my heart rate instantly, I like to know that I’m hitting certain heart rate zones during my workouts.
Okay.. technically this isn’t an app, but it’s still an amazing tool to use.
Head to iffym.com
They have a free iffym calculator where they will ask you a whole series of questions to determine your daily macros.
This website is an amazing place to start if you are just beginning your fitness journey. The website also has a whole bunch of other informative resources.
What are you favourite fitness apps? Let me know, I would love to try them out!
